Community

Project PEACE is dedicated to building communities in the home, at school with diverse needs and populations, and outside of the school community as well!

Congratulations to Robert Hawkins from Positive SPIN

for receiving a R.I.S.E. Network Grant for 10,000.00!

Partnering with these difference makers from Positive SPIN  – Project PEACE Foundation is collaborating with them to create a curriculum for fifth graders in Montbello and Green Valley Ranch to learn the value of Character Education and Ethics.

Also grateful to Donna Loomis and St Nick’s Ministries for all the ways she has helped us to help others in need!  A grandmother of former students I loved teaching, Donna and her family work tirelessly to gather items during peak sales in the season, and store entire roomfuls of toys, books, school supplies, and clothing in her basement.  Hundreds of families benefit each year by being able to have brand new backpacks and school supplies to start the school year like everyone else, and hundreds of families receive stockings and a variety of options in toys and books for gifts during the holidays.  Santa even comes to visit several underprivileged neighborhoods each Christmas!
